About Texas Corners Car Wash
Texas Corners Car Wash is one of the self-service car washes listed in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The business is registered at 6869 W Q Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49009; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
In Kalamazoo, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Michigan, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (269) 760-0707. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating stands at 3.3 out of 5 from 147 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Kalamazoo is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Kalamazoo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Don’t take a high-end car there to wash it in the stalls. The owner is afraid you’ll spend any time off the clock paying to wash your car. There’s a sign that says no “bucket washing” in the inside, but that means he doesn’t want you to spend any time in his stalls. It’s too bad. It’s NEVER busy there. I can hose my car off at home and do the detailing instead. The point of having a stall is to have your car in shade while washing, drying and ceramic coating. Don’t go there. I would think he would want people to see you cleaning a nice car there to bring other people in to do the same. I had to spend $14.00 to basically hose off my car. Rip off.

$12 deluxe wash says it includes undercarriage and rocker blaster then it asks you to pay extra for those. When I pulled forward it never did anything under my car. Total ripoff. I want refunded but theres nobody to even contact about it. The wash lasted all of 2 minutes and came out still dirty with soap still on my back window.

Ripoff, ripoff, ripoff. Sign says $2, I put in $2 and it says I need another $1. Put additional $1 in and it gave me all of about 2 minutes. Put in $2 more and had no other coins. Used credit card and after about another 2 minutes it charged me $10, and I ended up with a mediocre wash. Never will I go here again for a car wash. Don't waste your money as there are many other car washes in the area.

Good place, works well. Removes probably 90-95% of contamination without touching the paint. The salt remover removes salt quickly which is the goal in winter time. The soap, salt, and water could use a little more pressure, product, and water but it's decent enough. You may have to spend a little more time cleaning. I have not used the touchless wash.

It would be nice if the height restriction for the auto wash was posted on the one-way entry driveway that has no other exit before you enter the one-way entry…. I wanted to try this car wash because I have wide tires and a tall truck and a lot of my friends with wide tires. Use this car wash unfortunately the height restriction is not helpful for my truck which is fine but only allowing one-way entry no notice before you enter the one-way entry of the height. Restriction would have been very helpful on the welcome wash sign before I got in line and had to have everyone back up to let me out of the line and wait to exit incorrectly…
